Registrants Please NOTE:  Choose the workshop that best matches your experience level.  Two years or less experience with VADIR/DASA choose Introductory.  Three years or more experience with VADIR/DASA choose Veteran.

Veteran Level
 

8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (registration from 8:00-8:30)
 

This session is intended for those with three or more years experience in reporting VADIR/DASA information.  Bring 2015-16 VADIR/DASA (School Safety and Educational Climate) worksheets from one building in your district.
 

This workshop will address

  • Investigation protocols

  • Analysis of VADIR data by category

  • DASA reporting

  • Issues of school culture and educational climate

  • Data Driven Approach to Positive School Climate: Problems and Solutions
     

The Data Driven Approach to Positive School Climate: Problems and Solutions portion of the workshop will occur from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This information will be provided to both Veteran and Introductory level registrants.
 

Introductory Level
 

10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (registration from 10:30-11:00)
 

This session is intended for new administrators or those completing VADIR/DASA reporting who have two or less years experience in recording and reporting VADIR/DASA information. 
 

This workshop will address

  • Data Driven Approach to Positive School Climate: Problems and Solutions

  • VADIR categories and reporting

  • DASA reporting

  • Investigation protocols

  • Issues of school culture and educational climate (SSEC)
