This session addresses New York State drill requirements, including amendments to Commissioner’s Regulation $155.17 requiring drills to be conducted in a trauma-informed manner. Participants will explore actions that can be taken before, during, and after evacuation and lockdown drills, along with best practices for conducting drills in a trauma-informed manner and resources available to support school safety teams.
